About this site

Antisemitism and Xenophobia Today/AXT publishes high quality analyses of manifestations of racism, xenophobia and, especially, antisemitism, against a backdrop of the more general social and political contexts in which such manifestations occur.

AXT is resourced and maintained by the Institute for Jewish Policy Research/JPR, an independent think-tank based in London. JPR informs and influences policy, opinion and decision-making on social, political and cultural issues affecting Jewish life. It also works to strengthen civil society by shaping social and political agendas, by engaging in public policy debates, and providing policy advice.

A UK registered charity; JPR deals with international as well as national issues, with a special focus on Europe. With over fifty years of research excellence in its former role as the Institute of Jewish Affairs, JPR possesses a unique authority.

As an independent think-tank and research institute, JPR is recognized by the UK’s Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).

Contributors to Antisemitism and Xenophobia Today/AXT include leading scholars, journalists, activists, and JPR’s expert staff.

Online publication offers contributors rapid dissemination of their analyses, which is essential in an evolving climate of antisemitism, racism, and other manifestations of bigotry. It also allows authors to modify their contributions in light of changing events and in response to other contributions.

AXT offers the opportunity for feedback for readers via an online response form accessible at a number of points on the website. The site is constantly being updated; if you wish to be notified about newly published material please let us know by using our feedback form.
